Keith Fentonmiller


 Keith writes speculative fiction and historical fantasy. Fate Accompli: Book 1 of The Water Nymph Gospels is Keith’s first book with Ellysian Press. He published his debut novel, Kasper Mützenmacher’s Cursed Hat (subsequently retitled Life Indigo), in 2017.  Foreword Clarion Reviews rated the novel 5 out of 5, nominated it as a 2017 Indies Book of the Year Finalist, and shortlisted it for the editor’s prize. Kirkus Review described the story as “an undeniably imaginative journey” that “keeps the reader eager to uncover its final destination.” Keith also has published several short stories, one of which was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

When not writing, Keith works as a consumer protection attorney for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. Before graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, he toured with a professional comedy troupe, writing and performing sketch comedy across the country. He lives in Kensington, Maryland with his wife, Laura, with whom he has two grown children. He grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan but considers himself an Ann Arborite at heart.
