Marissa Byfield was raised in the lush woodlands of the Pacific Northwest. After graduating in English, Marissa wrote THE SOFT FALL, a fantasy retelling of the myth of Diana the Huntress with a twist of lycanthropy. Its thrilling and rebellious sequel, ECHELON RISING, is her second book.

 

A former independent bookseller and newspaper copy editor, Marissa is a public library specialist with a passion for protecting the freedom to read. She lives in Oregon with her high school sweetheart and a cuddly mini Aussie.
