M. Panfil
M. Panfil hails from Indianapolis, a city renowned for literary talents such as Kurt Vonnegut, Mari Evans, and John Green.
As a Hoosier writer, it is his mission to help manifest the genre of Midwestern Gothic. Penance Winerose, his fourth novel, represents one such work.
He has twice been a finalist in “The Saturday Evening Post’s Great American Fiction Contest.”
M. Panfil is also a professor at two colleges in Indianapolis, as well as the founder and art director of Healer DIY, an all-ages art and music venue.
When he isn’t actively engaged in some creative pursuit, he’s usually reading, hunting for antiques, and being a dad. He lives with his wife Amber and two sons, Ellio and Ren.
