Marjorie DeLuca
Marjorie (M.M) DeLuca, is a novelist and screenwriter who grew up in Durham City, England, then moved to Winnipeg, Canada, where she studied Advanced Creative Writing with Pulitzer Prize–winner Dr. Carol Shields, an experience that deeply shaped her approach to storytelling.
She’s the author of five suspense novels, including Amazon bestseller, The Perfect Family Man, “BookScan Top 100” and “Apple Books Top 100” bestseller, The Secret Sister.
Her critically acclaimed, historical suspense, The Savage Instinct, received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly. The dark, psychological The Night Side, the romantic Lilah, and her most recent mystery/ thriller, The Divorce Party, (July 2025) round out her current suspense list.
In addition, she’s written a YA dystopian trilogy, The Forevers, The Parasites and The Feeders which she is adapting for television.
Marjorie has been a panelist at ThrillerFest and Bouchercon, presented workshops at When Words Collide in Calgary (2025), and The Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers’ conference. She’s also appeared on leading podcasts and platforms including The Thriller Zone, The Poisoned Pen Bookstore, Bookwild, Sisters in Crime (National and Canada West), and Crime Writers of Canada.
